For starters, looks like Long Time Listeners First Time Callers Chester Soria (Houstonist) and Elissa Brown (herself) have decided to take a few months off from our fair city to seek their fortunes elsewhere. Our characterization of their performance Saturday would be "Damn, it's really fugging hot out here and there isn't even a breeze or nothing and we just finished our beers and the only bartender is currently on stage playing the drums - let's get out of here and try and take them in one night in the air conditioning." Yes, we are heat sissies.

despite the heat, lenny briscoe gave an energetic performance. and played a new 30 second grindcore influenced song where stacey blames the man and media sex for the state of affairs today. she screams for 30 seconds while playing fast drums (self taught drums to boot!) jd has a real good voice for such a giant and he dont give a flip about sweating in his new sew what shirt
I so totally need to get off my rump, dawn some sunscreen, and check Lenny Briscoe out!!! Im ashamed that my hermit-dom has discouraged my intent to support Senior Briscoe, but there's always next time...Thanks for the insight folks!!
