GLITTERATI: SCENE IN LOUISIANA

Greetings from Old San Antonio, a city whose spirit and penchant for oil and gas conventions has kept the entire Skyline Network staff (including intern Skippy) more than a little busy for the past few days. But as we sit in our corner suite and ponder the pros and cons of meandering down to the Riverwalk for more most extremely exclusive VIP dayjob-related activities, we wanted to check in and let you know that we're doing alright here. Indeed, over our past few trips here, we've become rather attached to the 210, and can even now forgive one-time Noise and Smoke maven Liz Molina for making it her home.

BUT SPEAKING OF NOISE AND SMOKE! Was it only a week ago that the Skyline Caravan of Anti-Tears pointed its extremely fuel efficient nose East on I10 to the most recent home of that other particularly noisy/smoky organizer, New Orlean's own Mr. Promahoney? It was! For a wedding of afternoon delight in the Garden District no less! We were there, and so too was so many of those who make Houston so beautiful. OBSERVE:

Even before making it to New Orleans, we run into Judas Bear, on their second day of tour, in the middle of nowhere.

Mlee Marie (Hearts of Animals) rode in the Skyline Stretch Hybrid Hummerzine and knows that beef jerky = NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM.

Bret Shirley (Black Congress) and Tony Balls (The Ka-Nives) know weddings are SERIOUS BUSINESS.

BONUS SHOT: This beloved ghettoblaster, formerly a member of Mike McBike's epic GHETTOBLASTER, has moved on from its rock-star seed-sewing to a more pedestrian life as the official TGS-NOPEC job box jam box, and has made our long San Antonio days much shorter.
