GLITTERATI: SCENE AT THE CRAWFISH BOIL

OH WHAT A NIGHT! It was a battle for Timbuk2 dominance as some of the city's trimmest bike messengers shared the Castle Court patio with the decidedly less-toned elite of our mighty music scene. Burgers, dawgs, skrimps, veggies and, of course, mud bugs, were on the fashionable paper plates fashioned by our gracious hosts. A special thanks to them, Claire and Bret (we're actually not sure who else lives there) for throwing this early spring outdoor gala and also to the esteemed Coach Lohan for being on-point with the crayfish preparation. It was a great party, many showed up - we hope only that a few stuck around to clean up afterworlds.



MAVENS OF ROCK: Captains of the sound-cans Chris Ryan (Dead City Sound) and John Sears (Grey Ghost) peer off into the future, located only a few feet away.



Brooklyn via Georgia's The Weight does the Rock of the South RIGHT ON! Seriously tite bros who's Magnolia-sweet songs even lured a little old lady in from across the street to pick up a copy of their LP. Highly recommended that you check them out at SXSW if you get the chance.



Coach prepares the boil! Meg sports her new affinity for the Joan Jett look - will her hair be next?!?!
