FINALLY: THE JUDY'S CATALOG RE-RELEASED

We got the word late last night that, at long last and just in time for the holidays (Happy Hanukkah, by the way), the complete recordings of local legends The Judy's have finally been officially released on CD. SBT people who spent waaay too much buying copies of Washarama from the epic McManus collection. Oh wait, that was us. SO SAYETH THE PRESS RELEASE:
Washarama, The Judy's first full-length album is coupled with their Wonderful World of Appliances EP on CD, and The Moo Album CD includes bonus tracks from Judy's frontman David Bean's modomusic EP. Land of Plenty, the 1991 previously unreleased album by the late 1980's lineup of the band, is also finally being released in conjunction with the earlier recordings. The Pearland trio, which, at this time, does not appear to have any plans to re-form or perform any further one-off shows (their last being in 2005), once opened for the likes of The Go Gos, The Talking Heads and toured with the B-52s. The catalog is being released by Wasted Talent Records, which, interestingly enough, also has the Big Boys debut available for sale.
