Dang - life is killing us; we can't even find the time to write something adequate to strongly encourage you to go see Deer Tick (whose forthcoming album War Elephant is not only ACES, but is expected to be the first release by local FEOW! records) and The Wiggins at Rudyards tonight. But fortunately, this next weekend will be a different story - for atleast a few hours we'll be able to pull ourselves away from the computer terminal, battle with house-flies eternal happy hour of bachelorhood to play some records at Anna Garza and Maria Guzman's birthday party (both are members of Las Panteras Negras, you may recall). Also on the DJ bill is Shoo, who recently returned to Danseparc and the 3rd Ward Bike Shop duo of DJ To Live & DJ To Die.

PLUS LIVE MUSIC COVER ACTION! Raddage, the Descendants cover band with members of 50/50, Gay Marriage and Laws, will share the stage (wait, Leon's has no stage... FLOOR SHOW - STOKED!) with AWESOME! - the eternal huckster party time trio. Stoked.
