What are people doing to try and help:
An improptu benefit was organized by Andy of the B-Side's at Clark's last night. It looks like it raised about $100 for the Red Cross. Every little bit helps.
The Proletariat is organizing a benefit, but no details have emerged. Contact Shawna to get involved - they are sure to want bands, djs and other folks.
Shoo was able to make Cherry Bomb free tonight for some 18+ folks that were stuck here for the storm.
A group of people tried to go down to the Astrodome to volunteer today, not content to wait for the Red Cross' September 7th Orientation Session. I'll post if they were successful, or if anyone knows of a way/place to volunteer - please post it in the comments.
You know all the places to dontate money, clothes, etc. and hopefully you are doing it if you can.
